Ernespie Christmas Fun 2022

It’s December, which means that we can finally start singing Christmas songs. The tree is up, decorations have been hung, there’s glitter everywhere and we have a playlist – Ernespie Farm is in full swing for Christmas.

Christmas Events

Here at Ernespie we have gone all out for Christmas. We were blown away with the support for our annual ‘Breakfast with Farmer Christmas’, selling out after just a few short days! Farmer Christmas loves his visits to Ernespie, and we love hosting him! Over the next few weeks, we have lots of families booked in for the event, so it will be all go at the weekends as the little ones meet the big guy himself.

Festive Barn

We’ve been lucky enough to get two reindeer here on a pre-Christmas retreat. The festive barn is free for our customers to visit right up until the 24^th December, and it’s just the thing to get you in the Christmas spirit. You can sit in the sleigh, watch the twinkling lights on the tree and listen to some lovely Christmas music, the perfect Christmas setting. And the best thing about it, you don’t need to book! Just pop in to see us and we can point you in the right direction (bobble hats required, it’s getting chilly!)

Gift Shop

We have been very impressed with how organised our lovely customers have been so far with their shopping, with some of you starting back in the summer. The gift shop is full to the brim with ideas for Christmas. From stocking fillers and decorations to larger gifts for young and old, there’s a little something for everyone. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for inspiration if you’re feeling stuck for present ideas.

Ernepsie Plants

For those of you looking for something a bit more traditional this Christmas, why not head down to Ernespie Plants. With Christmas trees up to 8ft for sale ranging from £29.50, poinsettias and beautiful Christmas wreaths for sale, you can get the house ready in no time. With a new Instagram and Facebook page on the go, Ernespie Plants is the one to watch in 2023!

 Finally, it’s been great seeing so many of you supporting us and other local businesses in the lead up to Christmas. For a small town like Castle Douglas it makes the world of difference having such support from the community, so thank you to everyone for visiting Ernespie this year. We are proud to be a part of such a brilliant town!
